A NEW PODCAST!
Ever wanted to hear what the ‘character’ from your favourite documentary really thought of the process of having their every moment filmed, scrutinised and edited into a version of reality for an audience? And what questions they would ask their filmmaker if the tables were turned?
In each episode of The Sixth Wall a different documentary character takes the reigns in leading a conversation with their filmmaker… about the film they made together, the dynamics of their relationship, and the very nature of telling ‘true stories’.
CHLOE RUTHVEN with MARIO SALIASI
Mario and Nini follows the coming of age of two young boys in London as they struggle with the lure of street crime and gang violence. After filming finished, however, filmmaker Chloe Ruthven and her character Mario Saliasi had a rough journey when, at 18, Mario's feelings about the experience, and his representation, changed dramatically.
For our very first episode Mario, now 23, interviews Chloe about the filmmaking process, about the dynamics of their relationship and about how the final film came to affect his life.

Marc is renowned for his unique interview style, however, in this episode we see the tables turned as two of his characters from the film, Irish singer Keelta and German former air hostess Brigitte, take the reigns in a conversation about the film's making, Marc's work and what it's really like to be the subject of his lens.
